Bhubaneswar, March 27:Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi held discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the fuel supply situation, addressing concerns raised due to the ongoing crisis in the Middle East. The CM reassured the public that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel, or LPG in the state.

In a video conference with all state Chief Ministers, PM Modi addressed the growing fears over potential fuel shortages, urging proactive measures in response to the geopolitical tensions.

CM Majhi confirmed that the state government is closely monitoring fuel supply chains and has taken necessary steps to curb black marketing and hoarding. He assured the people of Odisha that sufficient stockpiles of petrol, diesel, and LPG are available, urging citizens to refrain from panic buying.

The Chief Minister emphasized that strict instructions have been issued to officials to ensure smooth supply management and to take swift action against any unscrupulous traders attempting to create artificial shortages.

Expressing gratitude to the central government, CM Majhi welcomed the initiatives taken by PM Modi to stabilize fuel prices and ensure the security of the supply chain. The state government is also focused on maintaining the uninterrupted availability of other essential commodities during this challenging time.

The meeting, convened by the Chief Minister, was prompted by concerns over the potential impact of the Middle East crisis on fuel supply lines, and the state government is taking all necessary precautions to avoid disruptions.
