Bhubaneswar, March 1:The Hotel and Restaurant Association of Odisha has called on both the state and central governments to support the development of large-scale theme parks, integrated entertainment hubs, and a Greenfield airport in Puri, as part of a bold vision to enhance the state's hospitality and tourism industries.

These ambitious proposals were unveiled during the association's 40th annual celebration, which was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida. In her speech, Parida encouraged members of the hospitality sector to serve as "Tourism Ambassadors," highlighting their crucial role in driving the overall growth of Odisha's tourism.

On social media, Parida acknowledged the association's vital contribution to the state's economic growth, saying, "...This association has been instrumental in enriching Odisha's hospitality industry. Its efforts have not only led to the flourishing of the tourism sector but have also had a ripple effect, fostering progress in other sectors and playing a major part in the state's economic development."In addition to promoting traditional tourist attractions, the focus has now shifted to innovative tourism models, such as caravan tourism, which aims to further enhance the experience for visitors to Odisha.
