Bhadrak, August 9: In a tragic incident, a Class VI student died in Odisha's Bhadrak on Saturday after a snake bite..

The incident took place at Saraswati Sishu Mandir located in the Agarpada area during the school hours.

According to reports, the 11-year boy, reportedly the son of a teacher of the same school, was playing during the recreation. Meanwhile, a venomous snake bit him.

Responding to his concern, the school authorities rushed him to the local CHC and later to the DHH Bhadrak for resuscitation. However, the lad died despite critical treatment tendered by the medical team.

The incident cast a pall of gloom in & around the vicinity as the grieving information spread within no time.
