With a total outlay of ₹1,113.50 crore, the scheme will be implemented over five years, from 2025–26 to 2029–30. Its broader goal is to transform Odisha into a knowledge-driven bio-economy and a national leader in biotechnology.
By supporting breakthrough innovations, the scheme aims to accelerate product development, commercialization, and entrepreneurship—ultimately contributing to Odisha’s socio-economic development and positioning it as a vibrant hub of biotechnology-driven progress.
