Bhubaneswar, August 6: The Brahma Kumaris, Bhubaneswar, on Thursday launched the'10 Crore Drug-Free India Mega Pledge Campaign' to promote a healthy, addiction-free society.
The campaign was led by BK Gita Didi, Director of the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Unit-9, Bhubaneswar, with active participation from Brahma Kumaris brothers and sisters.
As part of the initiative, around 30,000 students of KISS University took a mega pledge to help build a drug-free, healthy, and value-based India. The students vowed to stay away from substance abuse and encourage others to embrace a drug-free lifestyle.
Similarly, Brahma Kumari-Jatani unit has also organised the 'Drug-Free India Mega Pledge Campaign' in it's premises wherein Jatani MLA Bibhuti Bhushan Balabantary, BJP Leader Anil Biswal, Jatani PS IIC Stalin Biswal and others participated and pleged for a drug-free society.
