Bhubaneswar, May 17: Preparations are underway for the BJP government's first anniversary in Odisha, with a three-day celebration planned from June 11 to 13. Events will be held at the state, district, and block levels to highlight the achievements of government schemes and boost public awareness.
Bharatiya Janata Party- BJP led by CM Mohan Charana Majhi had formed its government first time in Odisha on 12 June 2024.
A review meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja at Kharavela Bhawan discussed the smooth execution of the programs. Top officials, including Anu Garg and Satyabrata Sahu, attended.
The celebrations will include a public meeting and development exhibition at Janata Maidan, district-level programs, cultural shows, exhibitions, and IEC activities.
Departments have been directed to release booklets and success stories, with the I&PR Department publishing a special booklet titled “Pragati Prabaha.”
Themes like women empowerment, Mission Shakti, agriculture, education, health, and rural development will be highlighted.
Competitions among students are also planned to promote the vision of a developed Odisha by 2036 and India by 2047.
