Bhubaneswar, September 3: The Odisha Legislative Assembly will convene the seventeenth session of the 17th Assembly from September 22, according to the provisional calendar issued by the Assembly Secretariat on Thursday.
The session is scheduled to continue until October 3, with most sitting days allocated for government business.
September 25, a Friday, has been designated for Private Members’ Business, during which members will take up Private Members’ Bills and Resolutions.
The Assembly will not hold sittings on September 26 and 27. The House will also remain closed on October 2 in observance of Gandhi Jayanti.
The detailed business for the session will be taken up as per the schedule issued by the Assembly Secretariat.
