Bhubaneswar, Apr 1: Actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty today joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Lok Sabha and Odisha Assembly polls.
Mohanty was inducted into the saffron party fold in presence several leaders at the party office in New Delhi.
Earlier on March 30, sitting Kendrapara MP Mohanty had resigned from the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) after he was denied re-nomination.
Worth mentioning, actor and former Korei MLA Akash Das Nayak, along with MLA Priyadarshi Mishra, also made similar moves ahead of the 2024 Odisha elections.
