Bhubaneswar, May 8: The official website of the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) has been hacked, with a group identifying itself as the ‘Pakistan Cyber Force’ claiming responsibility for the attack.
Since Wednesday, the website has been offline, displaying a defaced homepage with the message: “This website has been hacked by the Pakistan Cyber Force.” As of today, users attempting to access the site found it completely blacked out and inaccessible.
OAVS authorities have not yet released an official statement regarding the breach. The motive behind the cyber attack remains unclear, and it is unknown why the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya’s website was specifically targeted.
Amidst growing concerns over the security of Indian digital infrastructure, cyber experts have highlighted the increasing vulnerability of Indian websites to foreign-based attacks, particularly in light of the current geopolitical tensions.
