New Delhi, May 6: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the second time in 24 hours on Tuesday, as India reviews its response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians.
The 40-minute meeting at the PM’s residence follows a series of high-level consultations with top defence and security officials.
PM Modi has granted the armed forces full operational freedom to retaliate, vowing a strong response to terrorism.
Meanwhile, the Home Ministry has ordered nationwide mock drills on May 7 across 244 civil defence districts, including 12 districts in Odisha, to enhance preparedness for emerging threats.
