Bhubaneswar, April 28: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has intensified its probe into the Azad Nagar bomb blast case in Bhubaneswar, with a team visiting Capital Hospital on Tuesday to record statements of witnesses.
Officials questioned several individuals undergoing treatment at the hospital and documented their testimonies as part of the ongoing investigation. Earlier, the agency had summoned and interrogated five youths for their alleged links with a suspect identified as Shehnawaz.
Sources indicate that the NIA has begun consolidating evidence following the witness examinations. While key details remain undisclosed due to the sensitive nature of the probe, investigators are reportedly examining crucial leads related to the use of RDX and possible Odisha links.
