New Delhi, July 5: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that the NEET PG exam will be held on August 11, 2024. Originally scheduled for June 23, 2024, the exam was cancelled on the night of June 22 due to concerns raised by the authorities.

According to the latest update, the NEET-PG 2024 will now take place on August 11, 2024, in two shifts. Detailed information about the two-shift schedule will be available on the NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in.

Students are encouraged to use the NBEMS Communication Web Portal for any questions, clarification requests, or assistance: https://exam.natboard.edu.in/communication.php?page=main.

The exam scheduled for June 23 was postponed as a 'precautionary measure' amid allegations of irregularities in recent competitive examinations. Approximately two lakh MBBS graduates take the NEET PG every year for around 52,000 postgraduate seats across the country. The board stated that the cancellation was to allow the Ministry to verify the robustness and ensure there are no vulnerabilities in the exam process.
