Rayagada, Sept 12: In a tragic turn of events, Nayab Sarpanch Ranjita Tripathy was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Dambasara village, Rayagada district, Odisha, last night.

Ranjita Tripathy, who served as the Nayab Sarpanch of Dambasara Gram Panchayat in the Gunpur Block, was discovered lifeless at her residence in the village. The cause of her death remains unclear, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Being informed, the Gunpur Police arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation. The matter is currently under further inquiry, with authorities looking into all possible angles.
