New Delhi/ Bhubaneswar, Nov 1: A new art exhibition called Melange of Memories was inaugurated on October 31, 2025, at the LTC Gallery in Bikaner House, New Delhi. The exhibition features 30 artists from various parts of India, exploring the theme of "memories." The show is organized by CanonFire Creatives Pvt. Ltd., an advertising agency based in Bhubaneswar, and is headed by renowned art historian and curator, Mr. Johny ML.

The exhibition is a special project led by Mr. Kali Charan Padhi, the founder of CanonFire Creatives. Padhi, who is also an artist, wanted to bring together artists from all over India to share their personal memories through art. Over the past year, Mr. Johny ML has worked closely with the artists to help them create unique pieces for this exhibition.

The 30 artists come from different cities and regions across India, including Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Pune, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Odisha. Each artist has created three paintings for the exhibition, bringing a total of 90 paintings on display. The works reflect personal memories, childhood experiences, and the cultural influences that have shaped the artists' lives. The event was graced by Chief Guest Jai Madaan, Special Guest Sushma K. Bahl, and Guests of Honour Ms. Charu Shankar, Mr. Prakash Sahu, Ms. Sena Latif, Mr. Amarendra Khatua, and Stefan Balogh.

The exhibition includes works by some of India's most well-known artists. These include Vrindavan Solanki, a minimalist artist from Ahmedabad; Yusuf, an abstract artist from Bhopal; M. Narayan, who is known for his paintings of horses; and Gurudas Shenoy, a famous expressionist. The show also features figurative and narrative artists like Ramesh Gorjala, Laxman Aelay, Anand Panchal, and Asit Kumar Patnaik.

Four artists from Odisha-Bipin Bihari Martha, Asit Kumar Patnaik, Suvendu Mishra, and Kanha Behera bring their unique perspectives, deeply rooted in Odia culture and memory, to the exhibition.

Prominent women artists like Sujata Achrekar, Shabana Quadri, Jyoti Khuswaha, and Supriya Amber are also part of the exhibition, contributing their spiritual, figurative, and abstract paintings. Their works add to the richness and variety of the show.

Each artist has created three paintings, and the exhibition offers a total of 90 works for the viewers to enjoy. The exhibition is not just a display of art but also a way to bring together artists from across the country, allowing the public to experience their memories and stories through their paintings.

Speaking about the exhibition, Mr. Kali Charan Padhi said, "India is a large and diverse country, and artists work from different cities and villages. Thanks to technology and travel, distance is no longer a barrier. But it takes effort to bring all these artists together. CanonFire Creatives has been working to promote art and culture in Odisha, and Melange of Memories is our first exhibition in Delhi. We plan to make it an annual event."

Mr. Johny ML also shared his thoughts: "Curating this exhibition with artists from all over India was a fascinating experience. I wanted the artists to create works based on their own memories, without imposing my ideas on them. It was my job to connect their works into a cohesive show. Over many months of discussions with the artists, I realized that flexibility in curating was key. The result is a diverse and beautiful collection of paintings that I am sure the viewers will remember."
