Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched the ambitious ‘Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha’ yojana in Rayagada and Jharsuguda districts.
The Chief Minister launched 2613 developmental projects worth Rs 91 crore belonging to Rayagada district and 957 projects worth Rs 39 crore of Jharsuguda district under the Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha programme.
The primary focus of this ambitious initiative is to enhance the capabilities and potential of every panchayat and every village in the state. Under this program, each panchayat will receive a grant of 50 lakhs, intended for a wide range of development projects and activities.
This program's comprehensive approach will foster the promotion of Jagannath culture, the development of each place of worship, and the strengthening of Odisha's traditional values. Furthermore, it will support digital literacy, bridging the gap between ancient cultural heritage and modernity.
In his address, Patnaik emphasized the importance of preserving and protecting Odisha's cultural heritage while embracing the benefits of modernization. He expressed his vision for an Odisha that upholds values of love, peace, harmony, and equality and serves as a model for cultural preservation and development.
