Bhubaneswar, March 30:Morning classes in Odisha schools will be commenced from April 2.
Owing to the surge in day temperatures, the state government on Saturday announced morning classes for from Class I to XII.
The School and Mass Education department has issued an advisory in this connection.
The school timing during the summer season will be from 7 am to 11.30 am, read the advisory.
Apart from it, the Special Relief Commissioner has also alerted the district administrations to brace up preparedness to tackle heat wave conditions with the provision of sufficient drinking water on the campuses and other precautionary measures.
