New Delhi, November 10: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday confirmed that multiple investigative agencies have been deployed following a powerful blast near the Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi. In an official statement, Shah said, "At approximately 7 pm today, a blast occurred at the Subhash Marg traffic signal near Delhi’s Red Fort. The explosion resulted in injuries to pedestrians and caused damage to nearby vehicles. Preliminary reports suggest that there have been fatalities."

Shah assured the public that security teams were quick to respond. "Within 10 minutes of the blast, teams from the Delhi Crime Branch and Delhi Special Branch arrived at the scene. The National Security Guard (NSG), National Investigation Agency (NIA), and forensic teams have now begun a comprehensive investigation," he added.

He further noted that all nearby CCTV footage is being reviewed as part of the ongoing probe. "We are exploring all possibilities related to the incident," Shah said.
