Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Para-athletes won two gold and a silver medal in the third and final day of the 2025 World Abilitysport Games at Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand on Sunday. The Odisha team bagged a total 12 medals including six gold, four silver and two bronze medals.

In the Women’s Javelin Throw F55/56 category, Odisha’s Suchitra Parida (F-55) emerged as one of the brightest stars of the day with a commanding throw of 17.33 metres, securing the gold medal by an overwhelming margin.

Continuing Odisha’s golden run, Kamalakant Nayak delivered a powerful performance in the Men’s Shot Put F52/F53 category. With a throw of 5.87 metres, he confidently clinched the gold medal.

In another proud moment for the state, Odisha’s Ranjana Nahak secured the silver medal in the Women’s Javelin Throw F54 category with an impressive throw of 13.11 metres.
