Bhubaneswar, November 17: Renowned Odia singer Humane Sagar passed away at AIIMS Bhubaneswar on Monday evening at the age of 34.

He had been undergoing treatment at the hospital for the past three days after being admitted in critical condition.

Despite intensive care and advanced life support, his condition showed no improvement.

Born on November 25, 1990, in Titilagarh, Bolangir, Humane Sagar hailed from a musically inclined family, with both his grandfather and father being music directors. His career took off after winning Tarang TV's Voice of Odisha Season-2 in 2012, leading to a successful playback career in Ollywood.

His debut song in the film Ishq Tu Hi Tu(2015) was a massive hit, and he went on to deliver numerous chart-topping tracks like Sehzadi O SehzadiMu Pardesi Chadhei, andSunn Zara. Humane Sagar sang over 150 songs in more than 50 films and 200 album tracks, becoming a household name, particularly known as the voice of actor Anubhav Mohanty.
