New Delhi, Nov 10: L.K. Padhi has been elected as the vice president of the Indian Roads Congress (IRC) during the 236th Council Meeting held as part of the 84th Annual Session of the IRC — the apex body of highway engineers in India.
The announcement of the newly elected office bearers was made at the session.
J. Mohan Naik, Engineer-in-Chief of the Roads & Buildings Department, Government of Telangana, was elected as the president of the IRC, while L.K. Padhi, Engineer-in-Chief and Special Secretary, Works (R&B) Department, Government of Odisha, was elected as the vice president.
Padhi’s election as vice president highlighted his exemplary leadership and professional excellence in the domain of road infrastructure development.
The Odisha Engineering Service Association congratulated Padhi on his achievement, expressing confidence that his leadership will further advance the IRC’s mission of upholding high standards in road planning, engineering, and management across the nation.
