Bhubaneswar, Mar 14: The Regional Meteorological Centre has forecasted that several districts of Odisha may experience light to moderate rainfall or thundershowers today.
According to the Meteorological Centre, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, and Keonjhar and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
Moreover, the Meteorological Centre mentioned that the maximum temperature (day temperature) in many places across Odisha is expected to decrease by 2-3°C, while there will be no significant change in the minimum temperature (night temperature).
Additionally, it stated that a trough extending from interior Odisha to the East central Arabian Sea, passing through south Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Karnataka at 0.9 km above mean sea level, persists.
