Bhubaneswar: The Khordha District Chess Association under the aegis of All Odisha Chess Association is going to organise the two-day Khordha District U 7 Boys and Girls Chess Championship to be held at Venkateswar English Medium School, Infocity Area, Patia, here from Wednesday.
The championship is exclusively for Khordha district players. For the first time in Odisha history a District is conducting district age group championship for selection of State age group championship.
Top 3 merit winners of each section will qualify to play in the Odisha State U 7 Boys and Girls Championship-2025.
The entry fees for players is Rs. 400/ for championship. Interested players have to deposit entry fees at the bank account of Khordha District Chess Association. Last day of deposit entry fees is 6th May.

Total of Twenty-one (21) trophies and a chess book will be distributed among Eleven (11) merit winners from boys and girls’ section, four (4) winners from (U 5 to U 6 age group winners) and best six (6) winners of Venkateswar English Medium School.
