Puri, Aug 16: Bollywood queen Juhi Chawla visited Puri Jagannath Temple and paid obeisance to the Holy Trinity on Friday.
She offered a Puja to the Lord Jagannath for the victory of Indian Premier League team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2024.
While coming round the shrine, Chawla interacted with the servitors and curiously asked about the ancient history of the Shri Jagannath Temple.
Responding to the media persons, Juhi said that she felt privileged to have offered prayers to the Holy Trinity on an auspicious Ekadashi of the month of Bhadraba.
“I had planned to visit Puri earlier especially during the Rath Yatra which was rescheduled for certain programs.There is lots of things to know and visit around the Jagannath Temple that need a pretty longer time. Thus, I will visit here once again”, she added.
