Bhubaneswar: Mentore Subrat Das will face disciple Ashutosh Padhy in the snooker final of the 31st All Odisha Billiards and Snooker State Ranking Championship 2025, ongoing at The 6Pockets Club, here on Sunday.
In the semifinal on Saturday, Ashutosh struck the tournament's Highest Break of 91 in his 2nd Frame and again struck a Break of 58 in his 5th Frame to seal the match against Rumit Gupta 5-0 (85-40, 91-00, 89-45, 45-16, 89-00).
In another semifinal, Subrat Das also kept it completely one-sided, not giving any chances to his opponent Siddharth Sen with a 5-1 (68-10, 14-62, 72-21, 80-29, 57-49, 54-36) victory.
As per statistics, in the senior snooker category, it would be a fight for Subrat's 6th title, whereas it would be a 5th title win for Ashutosh.
