Bhubaneswar, Mar 21: IndiGo Airlines will launch non-stop flights between Goa and Bhubaneswar from April 1, to increase connectivity further.
The flights will operate four times a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, under the Odisha government's New Destination Policy.
The chief minister's office (CMO) stated that the new direct flights will enhance tourism, trade, and economic development in the two places. The CMO is grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for patronizing the direct flights.
The flights will link Bhubaneswar's Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) to Goa's Dabolim Airport. Not only was the new direct link to Goa announced, but also from March 30, there will be enhanced connectivity from Bhubaneswar to Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and Port Blair in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
These flights will be operated by Air India Express, enhancing connectivity from Odisha's capital.
