New Delhi, October 1: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla recently highlighted the pivotal role of Indian youth in driving both national and global development.
Speaking at the New Delhi Institute of Management, Tughlakabad, he emphasized that the youth, with their potential, hard work, skills, and innovations, are not only contributing to India’s progress but also to global growth.
Birla pointed out that the current demographic structure of developed countries presents a unique opportunity for Indian youth to excel in various fields and lead globally with their expertise. He encouraged students to dedicate their time to studying, innovating, and excelling to improve their lives and contribute to India’s development and self-reliance.
Drawing inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi’s leadership during the freedom struggle, Birla urged the youth to work for collective causes and support the Prime Minister’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047. He also stressed that New India is now setting the global agenda, which other countries are following.
During the event, Birla awarded certificates and accolades to meritorious students and achievers in various fields, with MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri also in attendance.
