Bhubaneswar: The Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) and Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, in association with the Cricket Association for the Visually Impaired in Odisha (CAVI), will host the IndusInd Bank– supported Women’s National T20 Cricket Tournament for the Blind 2026 from January 17 to 22 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

 

Hi-Tech Medical College is the official medical partner, while the organisers have received strong support from the Ministry of Sports & Youth Services Government of Odisha, Hi- Tech Medical College for the continuous support in promoting cricket for the Blind, and the Ansuman Memorial Trust.

 

A total of 18 teams, grouped into five pools, will compete in a high-energy battle for the championship title. The league matches will commence on January 17, 2026, culminating in the grand final on January 22, 2026. The tournament will be formally inaugurated on January

16, 2026, with a grand opening ceremony scheduled at the Hi-Tech Medical College Auditorium.

 

Madhya Pradesh emerged as the champions of the 5th edition, and all eyes are on the top teams to see if a new champion will rise in the 6th edition of the IndusInd Bank Women’s National T20 Cricket Tournament for the Blind 2026. Odisha has claimed the title three times in the last five editions, while Karnataka secured the championship in 2022.

 

The Minister for Sports, Government of Odisha, along with distinguished guests from corporate organizations and political representatives, are expected to grace the occasion.
