Ayodhya, August 6: The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust on Thursday dismissed reports that VIP darshan had been discontinued at the Ram temple, asserting that all arrangements for devotees remain unchanged.
Speaking to reporters, the trust's interim general secretary Krishna Mohan said the system for darshan at the temple was continuing as before and denied reports suggesting that VIP darshan had been banned.
When asked about the allegations made by former temple accountant Mahipal Singh regarding the cost of the Ram temple project, Krishna Mohan declined to comment. Singh has alleged that the estimated expenditure on the temple's construction was inflated from around Rs 800 crore to Rs 2,100 crore.
