Bhubaneswar, April 4:Odisha’s School and Mass Education Minister, Nityananda Gond, has issued a firm warning to private schools in the state, urging them to strictly follow government rules and guidelines.

The Minister emphasized that private institutions must operate within the prescribed regulations, with strict action planned for those failing to comply. He stressed the need for schools to avoid arbitrary practices and ensure consistency in their operations.

Minister Gond also raised concerns about the wide variety of textbooks and publications used in private schools, calling for a review to ensure uniformity across the state’s educational institutions. He assured that talks would be held with relevant department officials to address these issues.

Furthermore, the Minister reassured the public that any complaints about excessive fees or unfair practices would be thoroughly investigated and dealt with swiftly.

“We will take necessary action if private schools continue to violate the rules or engage in arbitrary practices. Complaints regarding high fees will also be addressed,” Minister Gond confirmed.
