Bhubaneswar, Feb 25: To facilitate smooth and convenient travel during the ongoing Holi and Dol Yatra festive season, Indian Railways has announced additional Holi special trains. These services have been introduced to manage the increased passenger rush and provide better connectivity to important destinations.
Considering the continued rise in travel demand during the festival period, special train services have been planned connecting major stations in Odisha such as Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar New, Puri, Brahmapur and Malatipatpur with key destinations across the country.
The details of the additional Holi Special Trains are as follows:
* 04066 Anand Vihar Terminal – Khurda Road Special will run regularly from 27th February to 3rd March 2026.
* 04065 Khurda Road – Anand Vihar Terminal Special will run regularly from 1st March to 5th March 2026.
* 07165 Charlapalli – Bhubaneswar New Special will run on Mondays from 2nd March to 30th March 2026.
* 07166 Bhubaneswar New – Charlapalli Special will run on Tuesdays from 3rd March to 31st March 2026.
* 01929 Virangna Lakshmibai Jhansi – Khurda Road Special will run on Fridays from 27th February to 27th March 2026.
* 01930 Khurda Road – Virangna Lakshmibai Jhansi Special will run on Sundays from 1st March to 29th March 2026.
* 03230 Patna – Puri Special will run on Thursdays from 5th March to 26th March 2026.
* 03229 Puri – Patna Special will run on Fridays from 6th March to 27th March 2026.
* 08011 Bhanjpur – Puri Special will run on Thursdays and Saturdays from 5th March to 28th March 2026.
* 08012 Puri – Bhanjpur Special will run on Fridays and Sundays from 6th March to 29th March 2026.
* 02839 Shalimar – Puri Special will run on Sundays from 1st March to 29th March 2026.
* 02840 Puri – Shalimar Special will run on Mondays from 2nd March to 30th March 2026.
* 02863 Santragachi – Yalahanka Junction Special will run on Thursdays from 5th March to 26th March 2026.
* 02864 Yalahanka Junction – Santragachi Special will run on Saturdays from 7th March to 28th March 2026.
* 02841 Shalimar – Chennai Central Special will run on Mondays from 2nd March to 30th March 2026.
* 02842 Chennai Central – Shalimar Special will run on Wednesdays from 4th March to 1st April 2026.
* 07027 Charlapalli – Brahmapur Special will run on Fridays from 6th March to 27th March 2026.
* 07028 Brahmapur – Charlapalli Special will run on Saturdays from 7th March to 28th March 2026.
* 05064 Gomti Nagar (Lucknow) – Malatipatpur Special will run on Thursdays from 26th February to 26th March 2026.
* 05063 Malatipatpur – Gomti Nagar (Lucknow) Special will run on Saturdays from 28th February to 28th March 2026.
* 08405 Puri – Pune One Way Special will run on Friday, 27th February 2026.
These special trains will cover important routes and key destinations ensuring smooth travel during the festive season and offer greater flexibility in travel planning, thereby facilitating safe, comfortable and convenient journeys for passengers during the Holi festival period.
