Rourkela, Ap 7: Panic gripped the Chandiposh area late Monday night as a massive fire broke out at a railway grid near the Chandiposh police station. The blaze, which erupted with a loud blast, caused widespread fear among locals and forced police personnel to evacuate the vicinity for safety.
Initial reports suggest that the fire may have been triggered by a short circuit, though investigations are underway. The Chandiposh police immediately alerted the fire department upon noticing the flames. Firefighters from Lahuni Pada arrived first but could not control the blaze, prompting reinforcements from Rourkela and Bansapani to join the effort.
