​​​​​​​Athagarh, March 23: A major fire broke out at a Tata Motors workshop in Khuntuni area of Athagarh on Monday, sending thick plumes of black smoke across the locality and triggering panic among residents.

According to sources, the blaze originated within the workshop premises, where a truck and a scraper caught fire. The flames spread rapidly, intensifying the situation and covering the surrounding area in dense smoke.

Fire services were immediately alerted and rushed to the spot. Firefighters are currently engaged in efforts to control the blaze and prevent further damage.

No casualties have been reported so far. However, the exact extent of damage is yet to be assessed.
