Boudh, April 10: In a tragic incident, an elderly woman was reportedly burnt alive after a fire broke out at her house in Odisha’s Boudh district on Friday.

The incident occurred at Tikirapada village under Baunsuni police limits. The deceased has been identified as Suryakanti Sahu.

According to reports, Sahu was asleep inside her house when the fire suddenly erupted. She attempted to escape but failed to come out in time and was engulfed in flames.
