New Delhi, May 1: The price of commercial LPG saw a significant increase of Rs 993 per 19-kg cylinder on Friday, marking the largest hike ever. This is the third consecutive monthly increase, driven by the surge in global energy prices linked to the ongoing conflict in West Asia.
As a result, the cost of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder, primarily used by businesses like hotels and restaurants, has now reached an all-time high of Rs 3,071.5 in Delhi, up from Rs 2,078.50 previously.
This price revision follows a hike of Rs 195.50 per cylinder on April 1.
Before that, the price had been raised by Rs 114.5 on March 1.
