Joda, May 11: A serious accident was narrowly escaped early this morning on NH-520 near Kalapahad in Keonjhar district as a passenger bus, the night coach traveling from Bhubaneswar to Joda, collided with a trailer coming from the opposite direction.

The impact caused damage to the right rear side of the bus, but fortunately, the bus’s passengers were unharmed.

At the time of the incident, there were around 7 to 8 passengers on board.

Being informed, police from Joda station quickly reached the scene after receiving the report and have begun investigation the cause of the collision.
