Delhi, May 17: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), has announced to reduce Re-evaluation fees for examinees for re-checking & re-evaluation of their answer papers.

Similarly, the fees for obtaining scanned copies of exam papers (Answer sheets) have also been stupendously reduced.

According to Sanjay Kumar, Secretary, Union Ministry of Education, the CBSE on Sunday announced that the fee for obtaining scanned copies of answer sheets has been brought down from Rs 700 to Rs 100.

Similarly, the mark verification fee has been reduced from Rs 500 to Rs 100.

Apart from it, Per-question re-evaluation fees have also been lowered with refund provisions for enhanced marks.

The CBSE has cut the fee for re-evaluation of individual questions from Rs 100 to Rs 25 and resolved that no fees will be charged for the examinees, in case their marks increase after re-evaluation.
