Nuapada, Nov 8: Byelection to Nuapada Assembly Constituency is round the cornor. While voting is about to commence after almost 48 hours, candidates are performing their power-plays to win the battle. Meanwhile, the ruling BJP endeavours to secure the seat which was once upon a time a stronghold of BJD.

In view of the Nuapada bypoll, Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi is visiting the constituency again and overagain, to campaign for the BJP candidate Jay Dholkia. After conducting roadshows and public meetings at various places on November 6, CM Majhi is visiting Nuapada on Saturday to canvass for Dholakia.

According to the CMO sources, Majhi is visiting Nuapada on the day to undertake high-voltage poll campaign at Nuapada and Khariar Road, among other key places. He will address public in a lot of public meetings wherein he will seek mass blessings for the BJP candidate, on the fray.

Following this, he is scheduled to discuss with the senior leaders, election in-charges and party observers at the circuit house regarding the booth level organisation to tackle the byelection.

On Sunday, the CM is slated to leave for Bhubaneswar after chairing a crucial meeting with some cabinet ministers who are assigned to oversee the overall arrangements ahead of the polling.
