Bhubaneswar, Aug 15: After heavy pouring for a couple of days, there has been a considerable fall in the amount of rainfall in Odisha during the last seven days.
However, on Tuesday there was light drizzle to medium rainfall in some places of the state. But the rainfall is likely to increase in the next 24 hours, predicted the Indian Metrology Department (IMD). In one or two places in 13 districts, there will be thunderstorms with lightning during the next 24 hours, the IMD forecast stated.
The districts that are likely to receive rainfall on Wednesday are - Jajpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul, Boudh, Nayagarh, Khurda, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak, the IMD regional centre informed.
