Shimla, May 12: Buddhist communities from Himachal Pradesh and the Tibetan exile diaspora gathered in Shimla to mark the 2569th Buddha Jayanti, commemorating the birth, enlightenment, and Mahaparinirvana of Lord Buddha.
Organised by the Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti Bauddh Sewa Sangh and Indo-Tibet Friendship Society, the event echoed strong calls for peace amid global unrest.
