Angul, March 8: In a tragic incident, a biker has been killed in a road mishap in Angul on Sunday after run over by a speeding Truck.

The incident took place at the Banar village under Khamar Police limits in Angul district this morning.

The deceased is yet to be identified.

According to report, a man was leaving towards Khamar riding his bike. Meanwhie, a speeding truck tossed the bike violently and crushed him to death.

Following the mishap, the errant Truck driver reportedly surrendered before the Khamar police along with the truck.

The police detained the driver, seized the truck and sent the body to hospital for postmoretem.
