Bhubaneswar, August 14: Sambalpur MP and former Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday hoisted the national flag at his residence in Bhubaneswar as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and extended his greetings to the people on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day.

Speaking after the flag-hoisting ceremony, Pradhan said the campaign, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has created a strong sense of patriotism, unity and national pride across the country.

He said the initiative is encouraging citizens to remember the sacrifices and contributions of India’s freedom fighters and inspiring them to reaffirm their commitment to serving the nation.

Pradhan also urged the people of Odisha and citizens across the country to actively participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign by hoisting the national flag at their homes.

He called upon people to use the campaign to promote the values of national unity, peace and social harmony and strengthen the spirit of patriotism among citizens.
