Bhubaneswar, Aug 2: A Gujarat-based share market investor has reportedly gone missing from the Capital City Bhubaneswar on Friday.
The young trader, identified as Tushar Bhatt is feared that he has committed suicide jumping off the Kathajodi Bridge since his car was found parked at Trishulia Bridge in Cuttack.
On the basis of the complaint lodged by Tushar’s spouse, the Barang police have initiated an investigation in this connection.
The Fire Forces launched a rescue operation in the Kathajodi River following information from the police.
Police sources said, Tushar, who was initially a banker ventured into stock market trading. However, he reportedly incurred a sizeable loss in the business recently. After a few days to it, he went missing on Wednesday.
Further investment is underway. No clues regarding his whereabouts are with the fire forces yet, said police.
