Subarnapur, Oct 22: A 28-year-old man lost his life after his bike plunged off a bridge near Belapada Chhak on National Highway 126 in Subarnapur district.

The deceased has been identified as Yuddhamanyu Duari, a resident of Bhramarapali village under Binika police limits. According to reports, he was travelling from Binika when he reportedly lost control of his bike while crossing the Magarkunda Bridge. The vehicle fell nearly 20 feet below, killing him on the spot.

Following the incident, local police rushed to the scene, recovered the body, and sent it to Binika Community Health Centre for post-mortem.

Binika IIC Satyanarayan Pradhan confirmed the incident and said that an investigation is currently underway to ascertain the exact cause of the mishap.
