Gold Soars by Rs 800, Silver raises by Rs 4,300 in Delhi

Silver prices surged by Rs 4,300, reaching Rs 2.57 lakh per kilogram in the national capital on Monday, while gold saw a rise of Rs 800, reaching Rs 1.57 lakh per 10 grams, driven by increased buying activity from retailers and stockists.

New Delhi, April 20: Silver prices surged by Rs 4,300, reaching Rs 2.57 lakh per kilogram in the national capital on Monday, while gold saw a rise of Rs 800, reaching Rs 1.57 lakh per 10 grams, driven by increased buying activity from retailers and stockists.

As reported by the All India Sarafa Association, the price of silver climbed to Rs 2,57,300 per kg (inclusive of all taxes), up from Rs 2,53,000 per kg on Friday.

Meanwhile, gold with 99.9% purity gained Rs 800 to Rs 1,57,000 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes). The yellow metal had closed at Rs 1,56,200 per 10 grams in the previous trading session.
