Bhubaneswar, Aug 5: Fuel prices across Odisha remain high, with Malkangiri district reporting the steepest rates.
In Bhubaneswar, petrol is priced at Rs 101.29 per litre, and diesel at Rs 92.20 per litre. In Cuttack, petrol costs ₹101.24 while diesel is slightly higher at Rs 93.34 per litre.
Sambalpur saw petrol priced at Rs 102.39 and diesel at Rs 93.22 per litre.
Malkangiri district recorded the highest rates in the state, with petrol at Rs 102.99 and diesel at Rs 94.49 per litre. Nabarangapur also reported high prices, with petrol at Rs102.66 and diesel at Rs 94.50 per litre.
The rising fuel prices are affecting transportation costs and may impact the prices of essential goods in the coming days.
