Navi Mumbai, July 22: A free health camp was organised at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Sector 5, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, on the occasion of the sacred Hera Panchami festival.

The camp was organised by the Lions Club of Navi Mumbai and was held from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It offered free medical consultations and health check-ups in various specialties, including diabetes, cardiology, eye care, and ENT (ear, nose and throat). A blood donation camp was also conducted as part of the initiative.

Devotees and visitors participated in large numbers, availing themselves of the healthcare services while also taking part in the religious celebrations. Mahaprasad was served to all attendees during the day.

The temple also observed the traditional Hera Panchami rituals in the evening, followed by a devotional bhajan programme, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere for devotees. The event successfully combined religious observance with community service, reflecting the temple's commitment to both spiritual and social welfare.
