​​​​​​​Puri, Jan 26: President of India is scheduled to offer Pindas at the Sweta Ganga in Puri during her Odisha visit.

Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Dr Arabinda Padhee informed it on Tuesday.

Padhee while briefing the itinerary details of the President’s Odisha visit said, Murmu during her 2-day halt in Puri will offer Pindas at the sacred Sweta Ganga of the Puri Jagannath Temple. Apart from it, she will offer obeisance to Lord Jagannath with performing some other rituals.

Worth mentioning, President of India, Droupadi Murmu, is scheduled to arrive in Odisha on February 2 for a five-day visit to the state, during which she will participate in a series of official, cultural, and religious engagements.

One of the key highlights of her visit will be her stop in Jajpur district on February 3, where she will offer prayers at the Maa Biraja Temple.
