Bhubaneswar, October 29: The Vigilance Department of the East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Wednesday organised a stakeholders’ meeting to reinforce the importance of integrity, transparency, and collective responsibility in railway operations. It also shared its contact details for complaint submission.
About 40 stakeholders participated in the interactive session. Queries and suggestions received from participants were discussed, and valuable feedback for improving efficiency and transparency in Railway operations was recorded for necessary action.
The stakeholders’ meeting was organised as part of the ongoing observance of Vigilance Awareness Week-2025.
The session was chaired by ECoR SDGM & Chief Vigilance Officer A.K. Chaturvedi.

The Vigilance Team made a presentation on the complaint handling system and the provisions of the Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers (PIDPI) Resolution. It was emphasized that the identity of complainants is strictly protected to encourage people to report irregularities without fear.
The Vigilance Department shared its contact details for complaint submission and encouraged participants to stay alert and proactive in preventing corruption. The department reiterated that vigilance is a continuous process that thrives on cooperation, awareness, and ethical conduct at every level.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the message that “Vigilance is a Shared Responsibility,” underscoring the need for joint efforts of employees, stakeholders, and the public to build a transparent and corruption-free Railway system.
