Bhubaneswar, October 7: In view of the expected surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming Durga Puja and Diwali festive season, the Railways will operate a special train between Sealdah and Khurda Road to facilitate passenger travel and manage the additional rush.
Train No.03101 Sealdah–Khurda Road Special will operate every Saturday on October 17, 24 and 31, 2026, and November 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2026.
In the return direction, Train No.03102 Khurda Road–Sealdah Special will run every Sunday on October 18 and 25, 2026, and November 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, 2026.
The Sealdah–Khurda Road Special will depart from Sealdah at 11:50 pm and reach Khurda Road at 8:20 am the following morning. The return service will leave Khurda Road at 4:40 pm and arrive at Sealdah at 2:00 am the next day.
The special train will have a total of22 coaches, comprising:
AC 3-Tier:4 coaches
Sleeper Class:10 coaches
General Class:6 coaches
Luggage-cum-Generator-cum-Brake Van with Divyang-friendly facility:2 coaches
The train will have scheduled stoppages at Andul, Kharagpur, Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, apart from its originating and terminating stations at Sealdah and Khurda Road.
