80-Foot-High Char Dham Arch
The grand structure will be around 150 feet wide and 80 feet high and will be designed to resemble the four prominent Char Dham temples of Uttarakhand.
More than 25 artisans from Kolkata have been working on the structure for nearly two months. Their detailed craftsmanship is expected to make the arch one of the key attractions of the puja celebrations.
The committee has estimated a total expenditure of around ₹65 lakh for this year's Durga Puja arrangements.

Skilled artisans from Old Bhubaneswar are engaged in creating the intricate filigree structure.
Maa Durga, along with the accompanying deities, will be adorned with silver crowns and filigree jewellery. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and silver ornaments is expected to add to the visual grandeur of the celebrations.
Special Rituals on Sasthi and Saptami
Alongside the decorations, the committee has also planned traditional rituals for devotees.
The puja will begin with Bilwa Barana on Sasthi. On Saptami, a special Kalasa Yatra will be organised, with 108 women taking part in the ceremonial procession.
The women will collect water from the pond at the Alekh Mahima Ashram in Damana village and carry it through the village before reaching the puja venue.
The sacred water will then be used for the Jalabhishek of Maa Durga as part of the puja rituals.
